T.M.A. completed its first roadshow to Scandinavia

T.M.A.’s first roadshow in Scandinavia was the first organized mission after many years of absence of Greece from these markets. The roadshow included the three capitals Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo and took place from 1 to 5 of February 2010.

Totally, more than 50 tourism enterprises met the Greek participants and had fruitful discussions with Greek participants. Among them were the biggest tour operators of Scandinavia like Kuoni, Apollo, TUI, Thomas Cook etc. However many smaller tour operators and specialized travel agents participated in the workshops. Among them, Select Travel, , FDM travel, Zoover International,  Escape,  Kultur-Reiser,  ExpertReiser, Thema,  Paradisresor,  Airtours,  Travellink and others. Last but not least airlines  Cimber Sterling and Air Baltic came to examine the possibilities of opening new connections.

“Our purpose was to show Scandinavian agents that Greece is interested in expanding  cooperation – there were more than 30 Greek enterprises in the roadshow and that indicates clearly the importance of the  Scandinavian market for Greece. Therefore we will repeat the roadshow on an annual basis” commented Theodore Koumelis, Managing Director of Travel Media Application, after the end of the roadshow.
