Greek Roadshow in Scandinavia
What is .travel?
Today, more than ever before, competition and crisis on international level have extended the need for direct contacts of buyers and sellers. The need for direct targeting to potential customers, so that we may have the best results in the shortest time is becoming more and more immense.
The 1st Greek Roadshow in Scandinavian countries was the first organized “expedition” of tourism entities from Greece (apart from travel fairs). After many years of absence from these countries, 30 destinations and enterprises, participated in this Roadshow, organized by Destination Travel Specialists, daughter Company of Travel Media Applications, from 1 to 5 of February 2010.
It included 3 workshops (Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo) and many travel agencies along with tour operators and airline representatives participated to negotiate possible agreements. Among them, were the biggest Tour Operators of Scandinavia like, Kuoni, Apollo, TUI, Thomas Cook and others.
It was important, however that a good number of smaller operators as well as many travel agents specialized in various tourism products like Select Travel, FDM travel, Zoover International, Escape, Kultur-Reiser, ExpertReiser, Thema, Paradisresor, Airtours, Travellink and others. There were also representatives from airlines Cimber Sterling and Air Baltic to negotiate the possibility of new connections with the participating destinations.
All delegates spoke warmly for T.M.A.’s organization while Mr Sanyog Gupta gave us his congratulations for managing an efficient workshop.
